The Book of Job - Twenty-third meeting

Back appointment with the Book of Job; This week we read the answer to Bildad, which translates into a hymn to the Almighty God:

[1] Bildad the Shuhite began:

[2] There is perhaps domination and fear him at
What keeps the peace in the heavens?
[3] You can not count her armies?
And who does not rise above its light?
[4] How can a man be justified before God
be clean that is born of woman?
[5] Here, the moon is not bright
and the stars are not pure in his sight;
[6] at least the man, this worm,
the human being, this caterpillar!

COMMENT
After the speech of Job, Bildad the Shuhite took the floor, almost impatiently, weaves a kind of hymn to the omnipotence of God Almighty. Nothing to complain about what he says: in fact, man is nothing before God, and certainly can not occur without blame before Him, why deceive himself ( If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in noi.Giovanni 1.8). But Bildad is still in error because his words are dictated by the state impatiently arising from the fact that Job does not admit to having sinned, thus meriting the misfortunes occurred. And you can see the anger growing in Job's friends because they do not accept that a man can say we have not sinned and therefore did not deserve the misfortunes since, according to their thinking, only God punishes the wicked. We know, however, that happen to be in Job's misfortunes are not the result of God and therefore we can say like Bildad, like the others present, are usually caused by a heart closed and unable to hear or understand.
Next week we will see how Job responds to Bildad's words.
